Gasoline by Gregory Corso

This slim volume of poems on a wide variety of subjects is probably Beat poet Gregory Corso’s most famous work after Bomb. As was so often the case, the young poet was supported by Lawrence Ferlinghetti at City Lights, Gasoline being issued as number eight in the now iconic Pocket Poets Series. This is a lovely clean copy of the first issue and has been signed by Ferlinghetti as “editor”.
