First and only edition of this portfolio, containing three booklets and eleven slip-ins, issued on the fiftieth anniversary of Apollinaire’s death.

The first booklet features a chronology of Apollinaire’s life and comprehensive lists covering various topics related to him, including biographical materials, Apollinaire’s calligrammes, illustrators of his work, portraits of him, and paintings by his friends. The second booklet, titled ‘Come back Guillaume, all is forgiven’ – Annie, serves as a checklist of artworks created especially for the 1968-anniversary exhibition. The third, Apollinaire par delà la Manche et l’Atlantique, is a bibliography by Peter Hoy covering works of and about Apollinaire, published in English between 1940 and 1967.

The booklets are accompanied by eight printed cards, a sound disc (‘Le pont Mirabeau’ read by Guillaume Apollinaire), an index card, and a horoscope for Apollinaire by surrealist writer Valentine Penrose. The first booklet contains an errata slip.
