The true first edition, first printing, of Nabokov’s masterpiece, and an icon of 20th century literature. Published in two volumes by Paris’ Olympia Press in 1955. This includes the original price of 900 francs (a sudden fluctuation in the value of the currency forced the publisher to update this 1200 for later printings). A near Fine copy, with just some wear to the spines but otherwise clean and bright.
