White Cube flyer.

£150.00

Card, 15 x 15 cm. 1993.

Early flyer for the original White Cube, a small space on Duke Street that Jay Jopling audaciously asked for from Christie’s, on the basis that he would introduce an energetic new Contemporary art programme that would drive new business into the art market. White Cube operated from this from 1993 - 2001, expanding massively in the years since, first to a large space in Hoxton Square and now with galleries in London, Hong Kong, New York, Paris and Seoul. Jopling presented 75 exhibitions by 75 artists in this original location.
